Despite its being a classic fantasy universe, the board game of Monopoly existed in Ezri's home universe, including in an “Evil-Doers' Edition”. Not wanting to risk his life in a duel to the death, the Dark Lord Minrath, upon recognising Ezri as the Champion of Prophecy, offered her an all-or-nothing game of Monopoly as a way to decide their contest, with him forfeiting his conquest of the world if he lost.
