One version of Jenny Everywhere who had good control on her powers befriended, and travelled with, a version of Death of the Endless.
Description
Physical appearance
This Jenny appeared Asian. She wore “sturdy trousers” and a “gaudily colourful scarf”. (PROSE: Storm's End)
Personality
This version of Jenny was typically adventurous and fun-loving. She disliked the spectacle of death, and also usually disliked living incarnations of Death, finding them to be “everything she wasn't”, which was to say “cold, inhuman, imperious”. She sometimes liked to go to uninhabited universes when she needed a bit of time by herself. (PROSE: Psychopomp)
Powers & abilities
This version of Jenny Everywhere had good control of her shifting powers, and could easily tap into the memories of her other selves on any given topic, though she usually didn't choose to do so. Indeed, she often chose to shift randomly, “let[ting] the winds of infinity take her where they would”; should she appear in a vacuum or other hostile environment, she would instinctively use a further expenditure of shifting power to summon a bubble of breathable air around herself. (PROSE: Psychopomp)
Biography
This Jenny once let herself shift at random and ended up in a universe that seemed dead and empty. However, she found one last survivor, Death, left to wait out eternity alone after reaping the last sentient being, Destiny. Though initially confusing this Death with a version of Jenny Nowhere (due to their shared fashion sense and eerie white skin), Jenny soon struck up a friendship with Death and convinced her not to simply sit around, nor seek to end her own existence, but rather to “retire” to do what she always really enjoyed: watching living beings and interacting with them. Taking Death with her as she shifted out of the dead universe in a flash of life, Jenny pledged to help Death become a Shifter in her own right. (PROSE: Psychopomp)
The two began to travel together. Emboldened by her newly multiversal sense of reality, Death finally figured out a way to go back and free the cursed crew of the Flying Dutchman; with Jenny's help, the two shifted back in time to long before the end of Death's universe, and, appearing on the deck, explained to Van der Decken that as his oath hadn't specificed which world would have to end, they could free him and his crew by helping him to sail their ship into another universe which was close to ending, at which point they would finally be ready to return to shore. Van der Decken didn't remember his prior encounter with Death, but reluctantly agreed to let Jenny take the wheel. (PROSE: Storm's End)
