General Phillip Muratta was the commander of the Burandan military until, after recent events, he took the position of president. It remains to be seen how long this state of affairs will continue.
Phillip Muratta is the long serving Commander in Chief of the Burandan military. Corrupt, but (mostly) loyal to his country, he's been a major presence in the nation's politics, but not as directly like Mbuni in Kogana. During the Ostrich War, he preferred the stance of neutrality to Kogana. It took some major concessions from the Burandan government (and a rumored large payout by Zamunda) to get the recalcitrant general onboard for the invasion. The main concession he got from the government was the funding to set up a proper air force. With the help of the Blackpool PMC company, he finally got his dream of a wing of fighter craft. |
