D'Ismay Mansion was the “most haunted house” in one universe. This was, unbeknownst to most, because it was the residence of Strach, the Abstract of Terror, himself.
Every year, Strach held an exclusive Halloween party at D'Ismay Mansion, inviting many ghosts, spirits and other supernatural personages, up to and including the likes of Beelzebub. The gathering was closed to living mortals, especially if they weren't wearing a costume.
