Mary, better-known as “the Bartender”, was the owner and operator of the Red Lion Inn, a notorious interdimensional inn.

Physical appearance
The Bartender had blue eyes of the woman and “glossy” auburn hair. She wore jeans and a a plaid shirt with short sleeves which showed off her biceps, which were adorned with tattoos of “the various divine and demonic powers she’d made pacts with”. (PROSE: The Hermetic Garbage of Jenny Everywhere)
Personality
She did not ask for upfront payment, but rather, that anyone who stayed at her Inn agreed to the fact that they now owed her a favour to be called at an arbitrary point in their later lives. Powers & abilities
Thanks to her many deals and favours from supernatural powers, the Bartender normally had various abilities including shapeshifting, and more generally “taking the powers of the gods”. In the Collapsed Cosmos
The Bartender and her Red Lion Inn survived the temporary breaking down of the Multiverse into a Collapsed Cosmos. When Jenny Everywhere frantically took refuge into the Inn with Glendalf through the gateway in Faerie as they fled from the Wild Hunt, the Bartender announced her presence to Jenny by telling a bad joke about Achilles (who, awkwardly enough, was himself in the room, though he was busy arm-wrestling with Gilgamesh). Though horrified when she learned that Glendalf was being chased by the Wild Hunt, Jenny pressured her to help find a solution. (PROSE: The Hermetic Garbage of Jenny Everywhere)
