Jenny Everywhere (1938 comic book)

A Jenny Everywhere comic book was launched in 1938 in one world, concurrently with a comic on whose cover a bloke lifted a car. In this comic, Jenny was depicted as a dimension-traveller from the future who wielded a variety of gadgets, including a laser pistol. Shortly after the comic was released, as a kid hesitated on whether to buy a copy from Mr King, the real Jenny happened to shift close by, convincing him to make up his mind. (COMIC: Miss Adventure)
