Magic wand

Magic wands were handheld magical items. Traditional ones were thin rods with a stylised star at one end.

Jenny Everywhere owned one such magic wand, but refused to use it because it would “feel like cheating”. Instead, she eventually gave it to the Company of Free Genies as payment for a wish. The Desk Genie was seen to eat it like a candy cane, although it is far from clear that it was in fact destroyed permanently by this process. (PROSE: The Interlude of Jenny Everywhere)
