In the Prime Universe, Assistant Researcher was one of the ranks in the Drove of the Database-Compiling Dromedaries, seemingly the lowest scientific rank. The Assistant Researchers answered to the Head Assistant Researcher, themself answerable to the Head Researcher, who answered to the High Board of the Drove.
