In one universe, Wednesday Addams's mother and Gomez Addams both attended Nevermore Academy before her. (PROSE: Wednesday and the Shifter) Wednesday decided against taking the Eleventh Doctor's offer of travelling with him in the Doctor's TARDIS because she didn't want to abandon her parents, nor her brother Pugsley Addams, her Uncle Fester, Thing, or Enid. (PROSE: Wednesday and the Doctor) Wednesday's parents attended a meeting of the Nevermore Academy Alumni Association, drinking blood-wine and catching up with old friends. Behind the scenes

Morticia Addams is a major (copyrighted) character in The Addams Family, a series which has gone through many official adaptions and continuities. The version seen in the unlicensed cameo in Necroomies most resembles the iteration from the 1990s Barry Sonnenfeld movies, and accordingly, Morticia resembles actress Anjelica Huston's portrayal in those movies.

Notably, the original, print Morticia Addams was an inspiration for Maila Nurmi's Vampira who also appears in the same Necroomies strip.
