Robot Toaster

A Robot Toaster was acquired by one universe's Jenny Everywhere from the teenaged mad scientist Eric, alias “Professor Awesome”. She then brought it back to her home, where she had an entire collection of toasters.

The Robot Toaster was animated and occasionally timid, prone to hiding behind the microwave oven. (PROSE: Paying It Forward) It had a number of modes including #1, “pet mode”, and #111, “cyber-intrusion mode”. Jenny usually kept it in the former, but switched on the latter when she brought the Robot Toaster on an interdimensional trip so that it could help defuse an ongoing A.I. rebellion in another, nearby universe by acting as a negotiator. When he found that Jenny had disappeared and Kim wasn't answering at their door, Eric enlisted the help of the Robot Toaster to let him into Kim and Jenny's apartment. As it was daytime, Kim was lying on her bed, unresponsive to all his attempts to wake her up; unaware of her true nature, a terrified Eric proceeded to enlist David's help. On Valentine's Day 2023, Jenny had dozed off on the couch while reading The Tail of Jack the Bodice Ripper when a strange copper-coloured robot made its way into the apartment through the balcony. It tried to sneak up on Jenny, but was tackled by the Robot Toaster, waking Jenny with a start. After punting the intruder into the kitchen with a kick, Jenny ran to Professor Awesome's apartment, assuming he was to blame, but he told her otherwise as he followed her back to the apartment, concerned that the Toaster would get hurt as it had never been built to fight. The Professor managed to separate the strange robot from the Toaster, with whom it was still wrestling, but it then revealed that it had the ability to fly and escaped out the window, leaving only its bow.
