Frederick was one of the two waiters of the Interdimensional Tavern, alongside another member of the same species as him, Tpxszum. (PROSE: Multiversal Mischief)

By Christmas 2020, Frederick had only met Madame Tarsa once, during the previous holiday season. Frederick told Juliet-178, Jenny Everywhere and Arganthone-056 so while serving them a plate of baruga salad. (PROSE: The Time of the Toymaker)

When the Tavern was temporarily invaded by the denizens of the Interdimensional Black Market (due to a prank by the Faction of the Fooling Fish), Tpxszum saved Frederick from being fed a cursed toadstool by the Toadstool Salesman and hypnotised by another one of the Black Market merchants. (PROSE: Multiversal Mischief)

Background

Frederick is a recurring background character in The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids. It was noted in his debut that his name is actually pronounced “Gtrfrtovl”, and that he and Tpxszum originated in “Dimension )-0//zx” until it was destroyed, with him and Tpxszum as the only known survivors.
