Gnomometer
A Gnomometer, or Gnomeometer, was a device used by some interdimensional travellers.
Abúi's Gnomometer and Emergency Cabal Neutraliser stopped working after she became stranded in the universe of Loxie and Zoot, having been damaged when Abúi was knocked from the air by a stray frisbee shortly. (COMIC: Incognito)
A broken Gnomeometer, jammed on the number 2, was was one of the items accumulated in the closet of Jenny's apartment in one universe. When she and Kim went through the closet to sort its contents, they found it again and chucked it “carelessly” in the box where they'd already put the de-pants-icator. (PROSE: Cleaning Day)
Behind the scenes
In the panel where she complains about her broken items, Abúi is holding two devices. In the author notes of the 2012 reupload of Incognito as part of Abúi's Travels, Reinder Dijkhuis confessed:
| I have no idea which of those two devices Abúi is holding is the emergency cabal neutraliser and which is the gnomometer. Both seem to employ technology similar to Duches Guðrún's evil-meter. |
