Red Vicious was a bulky, red demon with semi-reptilian features who ended up being summoned to the mortal plane in Reality Z-25 31-H and staying in New York City as a supervillain.
Description
Personality
Red Vicious described himself as “evil” and his primary occupation as “destroying things”, though he also insisted that he “was not a bigot”. (COMIC: Enter–the Legion of Light!) He was generally not interested in “wacky schemes”. (COMIC: Meanwhile, On Earth)
Biography
Summoned to Reality Z-25 31-H
Red Vicious was summoned to Reality Z-25 31-H through a magical transdimensional portal by the Legion of Light using the power of their Magic Sword in order to help them fight Armstrong Fatbuckle, the living skeleton. Though much stronger and combat-trained than Armstrong, Red Vicious was initially put off by the skeleton's ability to continue moving his limbs even after they had been severed from his body. Ultimately, he was beaten by the group of strippers whom the self-righteous Legion were trying to “rescue” from their “sinful” lifestyle. After realising this sanctimonious nonsense was what they'd summoned him for, an outraged Red Vicious ceased all fighting and stomped off. (COMIC: Enter–the Legion of Light!)
Life as a supervillain
However, he did continue causing mischief in New York City, notably getting into a row with some police officer in unknown circumstances. The TV program Hero Hour reported upon him as a new villain in town, fairly casually. (COMIC: Interview With A Superhero) While drinking at a bar late at night, Vicious was approached by Evil Cloak, who offered him the chance to join her plan for world domination. Although the demon was hesitant, Evil Cloak clarified that it would give him a lot of opportunities to “break stuff”, convincing him. (COMIC: Meanwhile, On Earth)
