He Is Just A Rat was a comic series created by Tony Walsh. After a short print run in the mid-1990s, the series found a more lasting existence as a webcomic.
The satirical series, riddled with dark humour and adult language despite the “funny animals” artwork, focused on the adventures of the titular anthropomorphic rat, Rat Boy, in a city populated by anthropomorphic rabbits and regularly attacked by raucous, genetically-engineered Drag-Racing Monkeys in service to a mad scientist.
The series had an extended arc guest-starring Jenny Everywhere, COMIC: Jenny Everywhere vs. the Drag-Racing Monkeys, beginning in late 2003 and running throughout 2004. The author also created a one-page prologue to that comic, COMIC: Something Wasn't Right., which was inserted into the archive of the webcomic, although it featured Jenny without any He Is Just A Rat elements.
