Steven Wintle, also known by the Internet user handle Moriarty, is widely acknowledged as the creator of Jenny Everywhere; although the brainstorming of the character was a collective effort on the Barbelith forums, it was Wintle who drew the original public-domain sketches of the character and coined Jenny's canonical description as well as “the Paragraph”.
He described the yet unseen character as "like if Tintin listened to Le Tigre and joined the Fantastic Four.”
Wintle has, however, created relatively few Jenny stories: COMIC: Cars, the earliest, but seemingly unfinished, Jenny story, and the late COMIC: Tribute.
He has been cited in fiction as the creator of Jenny Everywhere, a fourth wall straining recursion.
