Wednesday Addams was one of the members of the highly spooky Addams Family. She existed in multiple incarnations across the Multiverse, and there was at least one web of “dozens” of Wednesdays who were connected into a multidimensional complicated space-time event, although this was not something the individual Wednesdays had been aware of before one was informed of it by the Doctor.

Description

Physical appearance

In one reality, Wednesday was described as pale and wearing a black dress. In another, she wore her Nevermore Academy school uniform. (PROSE: Wednesday and the Shifter)

Biography

Nevermore Wednesday

See main article: Wednesday Addams (Wednesday and the Weeping Angel)

One universe's Wednesday Addams had “psychic visions” and attended Nevermore Academy with Enid Sinclair. There, as well as saving the school itself, she encountered a Weeping Angel, the Eleventh Doctor, and Jenny Everywhere. (PROSE: Wednesday and the Weeping Angel, Wednesday and the Doctor, Wednesday and the Shifter)

Young Wednesday

See main article: Wednesday Addams 2 (Wednesday and the Doctor)

One world's version of Wednesday was a younger girl dressed in black. She burnt down a summer camp, and later scared off a boy who'd had a crush on her by making him believe that Debbie Jellinsky Addams was rising from the dead. (PROSE: Wednesday and the Doctor, Wednesday and the Shifter)

Adult Wednesday

See main article: Wednesday Addams 3 (Wednesday and the Doctor)

Another universe's version of Wednesday, as an adult, moved to Los Angeles to “escape the past”. There, she used her typical unflappability and inventive cruelty to exact karmic revenge on the likes of catcallers and “stuck-up reality stars”. (PROSE: Wednesday and the Doctor, Wednesday and the Shifter)

Musical Wednesday

See main article: Wednesday Addams 4 (Wednesday and the Doctor)

One reality's version of Wednesday fell in love with a normal boy, and attempted to make herself seem normal in an effort to win him over. She also came from a musical universe, communicating in song. Both of these traits led the Nevermore Wednesday to be skeptical of the suggestion that this girl was in any way shape or form the same person as her. (PROSE: Wednesday and the Doctor)

Behind the scenes

Wednesday Addams is a major (copyrighted) character in The Addams Family, a series which has gone through many official adaptions and continuities. The versions featured in Wednesday and the Shifter are the Jenna Ortega Wednesday from the eponymous Netflix series, the Christina Ricci Wednesday from the 1990s films and the Melissa Hunter Wednesday from a YouTube series. Wednesday and the Doctor also mentions, and lightly mocks, the version of Wednesday from the official Addams Family stage musical.
