Crystal of Thrash

The Crystal of Thrash was a large green gem associated with the planet Thrash.

When anyone touched the Crystal, their mind was projected to the planet as a disembodied, omnipotent presence. Hence, the holder of the Crystal essentially became the planet's God — and, more prosaically, its owner. The Crystal was acquired by Sylvester Shoebill and brought to Hilbert's, where he intended to sell it to the Queen of the Black Market to clear his debt with her and hopefully actually make some money. Before the transaction could be completed, however, a Wellsian assassin, Forga sog-Forgos, made off with the Crystal, allowing his kind to take control of Thrash and turn it into “New Wellsia”.
