An incarnation of the Doctor investigated Nevermore Academy due to the presence of a Weeping Angel. He arrived several months late as a result of the TARDIS being unreliable. While there, he met Wednesday Addams and pretended to be inspecting trees. She saw through his deception and he admitted to who he was and why he was there. He took her inside the TARDIS where she experienced visions of some his past and future selves. She declined his offer of traveling with him and they went their separate ways.
