In the 925th Universe, the Kooba Cola Corporation was one of the companies which released hypocritical, nominally supportive Pride Month messages in 2022 as advertising techniques. Their particularly backhanded announcement went out through Kablamazon, (PROSE: A Series of Queer Events) which, by Christmas of the same year, they had recently bought. A TV broadcast announced that they would soon buy another company. Every year, they aired the same tacky ad which featured “the Kooba Cola bus” which had Santa Claus's face on it. (PROSE: A Very Jenny Over-There Christmas)
Behind the scenes
The name makes Kooba Cola a transparent satire of the Coca Cola Corporation.
There really were a series of Kooba Cola advertisements circa 1940, all published in comics from Fox Publications, as part of a plan to make Kooba Cola so popular that it would be profitable to license the name and make the beverage actually exist.
The beverage corporation apparently shares the name to the makers of Kooba Fruit Pies, known in another universe to the characters of the Kaza's Mate, Gwenna series (similar to the Stewardess® Fruit Pies).
