One version of Nyarlathotep existed in the 925th Universe. Described as an example of an “eldritch horror beyond man's imagination”, he “was not very honest”.

He claimed to her that by sacrificing her cousin Jenny's cat Grober in a ritual, she could summon Yog-Sothoth from his slumber, which would end the world. Marietta went through with the deed, driving a decade-long rift between her and Jenny but entirely failing to summon Yog-Sothoth or end the world.
