A Slight Misunderstanding was a four-panel The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids comic written and drawn by Aristide Twain.
Contents
Plot
In a small building on the Cupid Homeworld, a mysterious hooded Cupid has organised the first meeting of “the Triangular Society”, a sinister group who want to overthrow the Cupid Prime and the Cupid Parliament and force the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids to adopt a more warlike attitude. Despite the hooded Grandmaster's attempts to set a serious, gloomy tone, it seems the four other Cupids he's roped into participating are not as serious about all this as he is, with one of the masked Cupids bashfully asking him “when they'll start bobbing for apples”.
Worldbuilding
Universes
- The comic takes place in the Cupid Homeworld.
Continuity
- This story features the return of Conquest-932, who had debuted in PROSE: The Cupid Suggestion Box. However, his identity was not clarified until the next strip, COMIC: Suspicious. Additionally, the other hooded Triangular Society members' identities as Conspiracy-1263, Larrikin-1029, Robespierre-1665 and Gaius-816 would only be clarified in PROSE: The Trial of a Dark Lord.
