In Reality Z-25 31-H, Mr Grangler once asked Kelly (then a lowly and put-upon assistant secretary) to get him “photos of Spider-Man”. (COMIC: Blast From The Past)
Behind the scenes
Spider-Man is a notorious Marvel Comics superhero, trademarked and copyrighted. Mr Grangler's strongly-worded request for “photos of Spider-Man” in Blast From The Past is a reference to another brash, domineering businessman character who appears in the Spider-Man comics, J. Jonah Jameson. It is unclear if the line as used in Blast From The Past should be intepreted as suggesting that a version of Spider-Man is a real being in Reality Z-25 31-H.
