In the Collapsed Cosmos, Jenny Everywhere helped with a raid on the manor of a billionaire, in Scotland.
This woman had became rich thanks to the success of a fantasy book series she wrote. Glendalf deemed that, much like her mansion, her book series “might have been charming once but had been built up into a huge, bloated structure that was a disastrous combination of banality and bad taste”. In addition to being deliriously rich, the billionaire was also vocally transphobic.
Glendalf, an actual wizard, believed that she had disgraced the name of magic and alchemy through her bigotry, and wished to get back at her for this; this was the reason he picked her manor as the target of the “adventure” he wished to have with Jenny and some Orcs. In addition to her money, the group had their sights on the Legendary Time Crystal she kept in a vault under her manor, which Jenny believed could be used to restore the Multiverse. After executing most of their heist plan, however, they discovered that Laura Drake had had the same idea and already stolen the Crystal after sneaking into the mansion disguised as one of her robot servants, and killing the billionaire.
The ensuing duel between Jenny and Laura over the Crystal caused further damage to the fabric of reality and eventually caused the entire structure of events related to Jenny's adventure with Glendalf to collapse; when she woke up, she was in a completely different time and place with no evidence that her adventure raiding the billionaire's mansion had been anything more than a dream. (PROSE: The Hermetic Garbage of Jenny Everywhere)
Behind the scenes
The transphobic billionaire writer is heavily implied to be J. K. Rowling.
