Dusty was a friend and assistant of one version of Jenny Everywhere, serving as tech support for her.
While Jenny went on adventures, Dusty stayed back in one universe at a computer marked with alien symbols, staying in contact with Jenny across dimensions through a special bracelet she wore. While Jenny was being chased through one universe's 1938 Chicago by a pair of tentacled creatures, she asked Dusty to give her a way to shake them off; Dusty told her to head for Evergreen Airfield, where she would somehow find a plane waiting for her. However, after Jenny managed to defeat her pursuers head-on, Dusty redirected her to the Benton Cinema, where she had detected a “major blip” not attributable to Jenny herself or her pursuers.
