After attending clown school, Ani entered the employ of Mr Haffalife, who kept telling her she would eventually get the chance to perform but actually kept her indefinitely stuck manning a shooting stand in his fun fair. Embittered and cynical, Ani sketched and drew her thoughts about her life in the revealingly-titled journal This Place Is A Mess.
After her journal and Mr Haffalife's Giant Panda were stolen from the stand by Gordon and Trav, however, Jenny Everywhere decided to get involved with the affairs of the fun fair.
