Safe at Home or Fernweh was an illustration and short prose piece by Laura Seabrook for Jenny Everywhere Day 2020.
Plot
After visiting a world suffering through a pandemic, this Jenny must avoid shifting for a while and quarantine away from all people for a fortnight. She spends her time socializing online via a "TESLA ELECTRIKS Farnsworth Communicator" which looks like an ordinary laptop.
Worldbuilding
Jenny’s wall is covered in pictures, which are annotated by the artist. She has pictures of fellow adventuring ladies Lara Croft and Lady Penelope, environmental extremist Poison Ivy, and famed sea captain Archibald Haddock.
