Insect Person
In Reality Z-25 31-H, Insect People were sapient, talking, human-sized bipedal insects.
Ordinary Insect People had six limbs — two legs and four arms — and a uniform, non-segmented shell as their body, plus a pair of small wings, and a bug-like head with mandibles, multi-faceted eyes, and simple antennae with two segments. However, the leader of at least one colony, Insecto, was taller and more muscular, with a more human body plan that included only two arms and two legs, though he still had three claws on each hand or foot, instead of fingers or toes. Inspect People seemed to have comparatively rudimentary technology, with the guards of Insecto's giant “anthill” when he tried to conquer one English city in the 21st century wielding simple wooden spears, although they were well abreast of human customs and culture, notably capable of owning and driving cars when the need arose.
