Ἀκάνθα

From Jenny Everywhere Wiki
(Redirected from Acantha (nymph))

Ἀκάνθα (or Acantha) was allegedly a Nymph in the Greek mythology of the Prime Earth, who underwent a metamorphosis after rejecting the affections of Apollo. Her name meant “Thorn”. Despite the prevalence of her story, no actual ancient source for the myth existed. A potential evil future of Briar, who had been cut off from actual reality, decided to take on the name of “Acantha” in allusion to this peculiar status. (PROSE: Century Smith and the Time Terror)
