Rune of Wanting

A Rune of Wanting was a magical rune which, placed on an object, would make it supernaturally desirable to whoever beheld it, causing them to overlook even grave danger. Undead beings such as vampires and liches appeared to be immune to this effect, but not magical creatures like the Junterlings.
In one universe, Junter placed a Rune of Wanting over the front door of his and Ibdis's apartment when they had to sell it off in a hurry without the prospective buyers being frightened by the unspeakable horror that had invaded the bathroom. (COMIC: A Letter From Beyond)
