One universe's incarnation of Jenny Everywhere, a teenager called Jenny Jacobs, had a boyfriend called Alan. He was not as wealthy as the boyfriend of Jenny's sister Julie. When bringing home an alien orb she'd found while on one of her superhero adventures as “the Shifter”, Jenny claimed to Julie that the crystal sphere was simply a bauble bought for her by Alan.
