Biography

Herman Munster

See main article: Herman Munster

In at least one universe, Frankenstein's Monster eventually stumbled his way into a peaceful, ordinary life in a suburban house, under the name of “Herman Munster”, after marrying a vampire. The two had a son, Eddie, who somehow turned out as a werewolf. The Lich Junter visited their house, among others, when trying to find himself and Ibdis a new place to live, but although he complimented Herman's scar, which resembled his own. In Frankenstein's World

See main article: Frankenstein's Monster (Frankenstein's World)

In one world, the Baron later described his “first monster” as having been ‘born’ with “an adult mind” but “a newborn soul”. Extremely intelligent, but ignorant of the world, he had lashed out in fear against an unfamiliar universe, digging himself in deeper and ending up retreating to a criminal lifestyle. He ultimately attempted to kill Baron Frankenstein, but, in that particular world, was unsuccessful. (PROSE: The Time of the Toymaker)

In the Prime Universe

See main article: Frankenstein's Monster (Prime Universe)

In the Prime Universe, there existed a popular image of the Monster as laid down on a slab, chained down at the wrists and ankles. Loki bound to his Rune Stone appeared reminiscent of this image, despite a lack of resemblance between the two men otherwise. (PROSE: The Winter Quests)

Behind the scenes

The spoof version of Frankenstein's Monster who went by Herman Munster, who made an unnamed, unlicensed cameo in the Necroomies comic strip Real Estate-Related Pun, originates in the franchise The Munsters.
