Information Pill
The Information Pills, (PROSE: A Series of Queer Events) also called Brain Pills (PROSE: Lovie Dovie Stuff) or brain pills, (PROSE: Annals of the Jen: One Year of Jenny Over-There) were an invention by the 925th Universe's version of Professor Wogglebug. They were meant to artificially implant information in the brains of whoever consumed them.
He tested the Pills a Munchkin volunteer whose head “combusted from all the information implanted into their brain”. Thanks to the magic of Oz, however, this did not kill them, and their head was efficiently replaced by a balloon with a smiley face painted on it. Nevertheless, this raised concerns with Wogglebug refused to take seriously, trying to roll out the Pills without further testing and advertise them at the Interdimensional Pride Parade. After one of Professor Wogglebug's Brain Pill test subjects had an aneurysm, Wogglebug gave them death surgery, turning them into an undead being who was thereafter “dead and well” by the standards of their new species. Wogglebug was confident that this would be sufficient to clear him of any liability, as he had “a good lawyer”. (PROSE: Lovie Dovie Stuff)
Behind the scenes
In the original Oz canon the Wogglebug's academy uses School Pills, alleged to have been invented by the wizard, which come only in a limited curriculum but which do not have the above-mentioned side effects.
