Infinity Train (series)
Infinity Train was an animated science-fantasy TV series which ran between 2019 and 2021.
The series' central fixture was the Infinity Train, a supernatural, techno-magical train existing in its own pocket dimension. Each of the humongous cars contained its own, themed simulated environment, including sentient Denizens. Troubled people from the “real world” found themselves boarding the Infinity Train, gaining a glowing green number on the palm of their hand counting down the way they had yet to go in their journey of personal growth before the Train's sometimes-questionable judgment deemed them “fixed” and thus fit to be teleported back home. Books 2 and 3 of the series prominently featured Grace Monroe, the leader of a group of human “passengers” who scorned the idea of working within the Train's intended system, viewing high numbers as a point of pride and Denizens as subhuman creatures they could rob and hurt at their leisure. Grace underwent a redemption arc over the course of Book 3, learning to respect Denizens and finally beginning to bring her number down.
One of the chapters of Shippy Shifter Snippets, a collection of fanfic drabbles featuring Jenny Everywhere, was a crossover with Infinity Train, taking place in a universe where, following the events of Book 3, Grace developed a close bond with a Denizen version of Jenny.
