In one universe, Ed was a young woman who once encountered Jenny Everywhere. Although Jenny didn't get along too badly with him, he badly misunderstood her nature, thinking that “Open-Source” was “Open Sores” and not realising that Jenny primarily used her shifting powers to combat evil, not for her personal enjoyment. Ed, whose name is not given in COMIC: Jenny Everywhere in Sob Story, was an in-universe caricature to Ed Brisson and the main character of Brisson's webcomic Sob Story.
