Triskadeckia

Triskadeckia was a planet in the Jynx Dimension.

Doctor Curious was the rightful heir to the throne of Triskadeckia, until a failed genetic experiment he performed on himself forced him to run away from home and change his name. (PROSE: The Time of the Toymaker)

Behind the scenes

“Triskadeckia” recalls the Greek triskaideka (as in triskaidekaphobia), for “13”. The number is traditionally considered unlucky, thus fitting with the name of the dimension, “Jynx”, which recalls the word “jinx”.
