Rob Cave scripted COMIC: The Late Shift, an early one-page Jenny Everywhere comic story designed as an introduction to the character. The bio he attached to the comic in question read:

[Unlike Nelson Evergreen,] Rob Cave is altogether too real, to the extent that he has to write and edit for money. A creative liar, he would like Britain to convert to a café culture soon so he could drink more smoothies and experience the occasional summer. Rob lives in rainy London.
