When it attacked downtown New York in one universe, one giant robot was seen “stomping along through the towers of Manhattan” before advancing along Broadway, “a few blocks up from Erikson Circle”. (PROSE: Truth in Labeling)

Behind the scenes

In the real world, a well-known landmark in New York is Columbus Circle. The implication is that in addition to its superhero stylings, the universe seen in PROSE: Truth in Labeling is a subtle alternate history, where instead of Columbus, earlier Viking explorer Leif Erikson ended up being remembered as the true western “discoverer” of the Americas, leading to landmarks and the like being named after him instead of Columbus.
