Behind the scenes

The Tower of Zirma presumably takes its name from the imaginary city of Zirma in the 1974 Italian novel Invisible Cities, which was previous alluded to in the Jenny Everywhere comic story Mrs Zirma. Whether the two Jenny Everywhere entities named “Zirma” have any connection is unknown.
