The Spawn of Fashan was a demonic, eldritch creature existing in “the stygian bowels of the lower hells” in the fantasy world of Ecord. It had a circular mouth ringed by five eyes, one of which was bigger than the others, as well as a number of tentacles radiating from its "shapeless circular body." The High Priest of the Shamen of Argon summoned the Spawn from a pit in the middle of a circular room in the Temple of Argon in an attempt to defeat Jenny Everywhere and Tyse; the High Priest, unable to call off the creature or control it, fled and left the two heroes to deal with the entity he had summoned. The Spawn managed to ensnare Jenny and drag her into the pit towards its mouth, but she succeeded in stabbing it in its main eye just before being swallowed, killing the creature.
