Biology
Sopachoans were humanoids with green skin, sharp teeth, and bald, pear-shaped heads. They were about as tall as humans and had four digits per hand. (COMIC: Jenny vs. Groff) They had small barbs on their elbows, vestigial remains of venomous barbs that were a genuine defense mechanism in early ancestors of the species.
Additionally, Sopachoans were a cyborg species; they were implanted at birth with technology that grew with them, essentially making them robots on the inside. Panels on their chest served as a direct interface with their mechanical parts. (PROSE: Sopachoans)
Culture
By the time Sopachoans achieved space travel, they were ruled by a unified government which sometimes engaged in interplanetary wars. They also founded a number of colonies; the creation of a new Sopachoan colony would traditionally be achieved by actually transporting a token amount of Sopachoan soil to the new planet.
Intelligence was much admired on Sopacho; Sopachoan professors were treated very well, given their own palatial estates with servants and luxuries. However, while the professors themselves differed, the Sopachoan consensus seemed to be that intelligence was innate, and refused to fund educations for youths who did not already show promise.
Sopachoans used electronic credits as currency and had a unique system to keep their rates up: the government paid hackers such as Marjog to attempt to up and delete unnaturally wealthy Sopachoans' fortunes if they left it sitting in a single account long enough. (PROSE: Sopachoans)
