Rennik was a man who was once invited to a party held at the Strange and Wonderful House, “last Thursday in the 3rd floor basement”. He was fairly familiar with the House by then, also knowing of the 2nd floor attic by the tennis courts. He had to nip out of the party to the men's restrooms, much to his annoyance, as he knew he was missing out on the canapé platter for every minute he was gone.
