In one universe, Jai-Jai was a fairy from Little Noodlington and a friend of Sprite's. She had various magical skills, such as the ability to turn into a mere glowing ball of light when she flew, and to create “invisible walls of force” with a wave of her hands.
When Abúi first visited Jai-Jai's world, Jai-Jai mocked her for not being “a real fairy” due to the small differences between their species in their respective universes, and the fact that Abúi didn't know as much magic as Jai-Jai, although the teasing was done in good humour. Jai-Jai suggested that Abúi, Tash and Sven get Sprite's help to undo the enchantments on Sven Allestädes's magical item of clothing, so as to nullify the plans of Erman. When Puddle flew into a rage, intent on thumping Erman into paste, Jai-Jai chased after him, sure that her “wall of force” spell would stop him. She let Abúi come with, though she insisted on considering that the other fairy was her “sidekick”, despite Abúi's objections to this framing. The wall of force failed, and it was Abúi's magic, specifically her Waylay Dust, that proved instrumental to calming down the Troll. After the day was saved, Sven returned Tash to her own world while Abúi stayed behind, hoping that Sprite could help get her to her actual home. (COMIC: Enchanted)
Some time later, Abúi, now travelling across dimensions with more accuracy, visited the Koala Bay Bares Naturist Resort in Tash's world in the company of Jai-Jai, Sprite, Puddle, Gog and Mim. (COMIC: The Nicest Place in the Universe)
