In the real world, Ficlets was a communal fiction-writing website, acting as a predecessor to Ficly. A short number of Jenny Everywhere stories were released on Ficlets. Hawk Manor and its mythos, as they appeared in Our Strange and Wonderful House, were also created on Ficlets.
