In one universe, a human guard wearing an elaborate costume, who had long reddish hair, travelled in the same Mars-Earth space-liner aboard which the Magician from Mars first made her way to Earth. He was tasked with guarding the ship's vault, where three million dollars in gold were being transported. The Magician stole the gold by briefly shapeshifting into a monstrous creature to startle the guard, then knocking him out. After she'd taken what she needed, she magically repaired the vault's door, which did not look as though it had even been unlocked. (COMIC: Magician From Mars…)
