Walt was one movie studio's head's assistant in one universe, who served as a temporary companion to Jenny Everywhere.
After the supervillain Alexander (supposedly) abducted the studio's star actress Barbara Mattel, Walt's boss sent him to find Jenny Everywhere and bring her to him so that she could be recruited to discreetly rescue Mattel. After Jenny accepted, Walt drove her to Mattel's house, where they found a crew of henchmen in the process of moving Mattel's things out. They chased them to Alexander's lair, with Walt continuing to reluctantly tag along.
After being captured by Alexander's henchpeople, they discovered that Mattel had actually eloped of her own free will with Alexander's help rather than being kidnapped by him, and Jenny ended up helping the two of them instead of bringing Barbara back to the studio. Walt tried to look on the bright side, noting that the attractive, hyperfeminine type was on the way out in terms of movie trends, and offering Jenny the chance to become the studio's new star to replace Mattel.
