J. Drake was a “known associate” of Jenny Everywhere in at least one incarnation, according to a wanted poster jointly put up for Jenny by a number of organisations who wished to bring her in for questioning. (PROSE: Wanted for Questioning)

Behind the scenes

John Drake was the protagonist of the 1960s British TV series Danger Man (known as Secret Agent in its American releases), a heroic, but lonely and taciturn Irish-born secret agent. The character was conceived as something of an anti-James Bond, not being in the least a serial seducer, and being reluctant to resort to killing his enemies. It is widely interpreted that Number Six, MacGoohan's retired secret agent character in The Prisoner, was an old version of Drake, a fact confirmed by some Prisoner novels but never addressed in the TV series proper, and which MacGoohan himself disputed.
