In the native universe of Jenny Cornelius, the Post Office Tower was a newly-constructed addition to the London skyline in the 1960s. Although Laura Drake's employers worryingly knew there to be “Sygons in the basement”, a restaurant, unimaginatively called the Top of the Tower, was soon installed on the 34th floor of the Tower. Shortly after it opened, Jenny Cornelius invited Laura to a dinner date there, noting that it was almost exactly halfway between their two homes. (PROSE: A Morning In)

Behind the scenes

Scott Sanford's author's-notes for PROSE: A Morning In highlighted the plentiful history of the Tower in the 1960s in Doctor Who media, implying that equivalent events also happened in the Folly of Men universe.
