The Puritan Streaker

The Puritan Streaker was a minor dimension-hopping supervillain, faced on multiple occasions by the Parallax Universe's Jenny Everywhere. As his name implied, he was a nudist, wearing a hat as his only item of clothing.

After her visit to Ecord spontaneously put her in a rather revealing “barbarian heroine” outfit, Jenny commented that she “hadn't worn so little in public since the last time [she] met the Puritan Streaker”. (PROSE: Jenny Everywhere and the Eye of Argon)

The Puritan Streaker later popped up in another universe where he teamed up with local supervillains La Frotteuse and Yaoi Boi to cause mayhem on the Côte d'Azur. Unable to deal with them because she was busy taking care of more serious business in Paris, the local Jenny, “Jeanne Partout”, contacted the Parallax Jenny and asked her to come to Nice to deal with them. Though she was prepared to deal with the Streaker and La Frotteuse, she was unaware of Yaoi Boy's involvement, allowing him to ambush her and tie her up with magical Japanese knotweed after stripping her. An embarrassed Jenny shifted back home, where Kim had to cut her free of the magical bindings. Kim later visualised this story using Professor Awesome's non-canonical imaginizer for April Fools' Day, over Jenny's objections. (PROSE: Return of the Puritan Streaker)

Behind the scenes

In the author's commentary for PROSE: Jenny Everywhere and the Eye of Argon, Scott Sanford elaborated on his thoughts on the throwaway reference to the Streaker: “What do you think the Puritan Streaker's deal is, by the way? My guess is that he lives on a nudist world and has some objection to people who go around gratuitously wearing clothes”. He added “If any of you have ideas for this, feel free to grab the inspiration and run with it!”, effectively releasing the Streaker as an open-source character.
