In Reality Z-25 31-H, the Yakuza were a far-reaching Japanese criminal organisation. They murdered Takako Yoshida's father when she was eight because he had failed to pay a debt he owed to them, and subsequently took Taki and her mother into an illegal servitude, training the former as an assassin.
