In one universe, Val Bonfiglio and her husband Herb were two of the permanent residents of the Koala Bay Bares Naturist Resort.
When Jenny Everywhere first spent some time at the Resort, Val quickly befriended her, with the two soon being on a first-name basis (with Val calling Jenny “Jen”) and enjoying a game of billiards together. With Jenny winning three to nil, Val gracefully accepted defeat and invited Jenny to have some beer with her and her husband. As they drank, the Bonfiglios enjoyed Jenny's recounting of past adventures (such as her face-off against Faceless Cyborg Ninja). She later joined the other residents in disguising herself as a ghost to get back at Tex Tyler for attempting to scare the nudists off the Resort. (COMIC: Ghost Story)
